From the time she was a child growing up in the mountains of Humboldt County in Northern California she had an affinity for design and building. After entering Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo as an architecture major, she discovered a love for the engineering side of design and switched majors to Architectural Engineering. After graduation she has been working at Taylor & Syfan and has taken over leadership leading the company to improving the built environment through thoughtful, economical, and innovative structural design ever since.
